‘The Forensic BTEC group have been donated a copy of ‘Double Take’ by Vicky Harper. In January 1991 Mrs Harper’s twin daughters, Emma and Beckie, were murdered. After their deaths she wrote the book, which records the events following thei...r murder, the subsequent trial and lives beyond. Mrs Harper wants the book to enable students to read about the effect of such crimes on the victims’ families. The book is also used by Police Forces throughout the country for training purposes, also by Victim Support and many of H.M. Prisons and Young offenders Units.
