The BTEC in TV & Film is a vibrant exciting industry based course.

The course is hands on in film-making and TV studio work where in your first year you will work in a film industry like environment working closely with others to produce Movie Trailers, Documentaries, Adverts and Music Videos. You will pitch your idea to a panel similar to a Hollywood Studio in the hope that your project will be chosen to take forward to be made.

By second year you’ll build on your portfolio creating a near professional Show Reel ready to promote your skills and knowledge whilst working to meet a professional client’s needs in a real working situation. Managing your own production in a Live Studio TV show, create a social action campaign from scratch and learn about the business management for your own production company. This leads you to producing your own Film Festival to celebrate all your accomplishments over the 2 years.

This course is a unique opportunity to both develop and build your skills in production and post-production providing the potential to undertake such roles as Director, Producer, Studio
