About the course…

This course is ideal for anyone wanting a career in construction, specifically in surveying and design, civil engineering, building services design or hazardous materials surveying.

You will develop a general understanding of construction by studying topics such as digital engineering techniques,
construction methods, relationship management and customer service, mathematical techniques to solve construction problems, the environmental impact of construction and the science behind building design, surveying and planning.

You will also cover topics specific to design, surveying and planning including project management, budgeting and resource allocation, procurement and risk management.
