Subsidised Bus Service

We offer a subsidised bus service for students living in the Loddon, Somerleyton and Blundeston areas. This service enables students living in outlying villages in the areas that are not supported adequately by public transport, to achieve their aim to study at Lowestoft Sixth Form College.

The service covers the following route:
Chedgrave > Claxton > Thurton > Loddon > Hales > Thurlton > Haddiscoe > Somerleyton > Blundeston > Lowestoft Sixth Form

The service is subsidised by Lowestoft Sixth Form College and runs twice a day (term time only). Pick up times are at designated stops along the route, arriving at college in time for the start of classes. The return journey leaves the college at 4.15pm.
