Lowestoft Sixth Form College

Yolanda Botham, Principal said: “I am very proud of Lowestoft Sixth Form College staff and students today who have worked together so hard this year and secured our best ever results! We have maintained our high A level pass rate with 25 separate subjects (including Biology, Chemistry and Physics) achieving a brilliant 100%, confirming Ofsted’s recent inspection judgement that we are a very good college with teachers who inspire and motivate our students to excel. There were some outstanding individual performances such as: Alex Parmenter who achieved A*, A*, A*, Clifford Hayden A*, A*, A*, A , Michael Hindes A, A, A , Kasey Packham A, A, B & Daniella Harrison A*, A, B.

Our Y13 vocational students have excelled too with 37 achieving the highest possible awards of Triple Distinction Star and Triple Distinction (the equivalent of A* A* A* or A A A.) A huge congratulations to our very successful students: Jack Baldry, Joseph Barber, Noah Bligh, Nathan Bull, Stevie Bayes, Alex Cross, Sarah-Louise Concannon, Joshua Hart, Sophie Howard-King, Phoebe Howlett, Connor Hudson, Rye Kettless, Arianna-Louise Lloyd, Georgina Learmonth, Fraser Macdonald, Liam Moll, Thomas Moore, Jordan Mulley, Oliver Waters, Chloe Wilkinson, Mercedes Wright and to Paul Blusys, Abby Codling, Lewis Cooper, Callum Dearman, Jake Easey, Craig Ellis, Declend Groves, Rivour Jenns, Lauren Palmer, Selena Pulley, Toby Read, Joshua Robbins, Megan Shields, Rachel Tree, James Wilkinson and Georgia Williams

We are particularly thrilled with these results as Lowestoft Sixth Form College is an inclusive, non-selective local college.”

And if that wasn’t enough… we have just been awarded an Excellence Award by the Good Schools Guide 2015
