Psychology is the study of people; their biological processes, how their minds work, their behaviours and their experiences.
In this subject, you will cover topics such as approaches to psychology - cognitive, biological, humanistic and psychodynamic
perspectives and areas such as social influence psychology, including cognitive, memory, attachment, relationships and forensic psychology.
You will also be given the opportunity to undertake independent research in an area of psychology that interests you. You will focus on approaches in psychology, research methods, health psychology and forensic psychology.

At least five GCSEs at grades 9-4 in one sitting. An average GCSE score of 5 or more is preferred.
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4. (A Level), Four GCSEs at grades 9-4, or a Merit in a full Level 2 BTEC Diploma.

After completing this course, you will be fully prepared to progress to university where you can study subjects such as counselling,
psychology, criminology, sociology, philosophy and more.
