Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some of our historic documents relating to College literature, the governance of the College and policies and procedures are available as PDFs and are not currently accessible.

The College literature will be updated to an accessible format when they are next reviewed and republished.

The policies and procedures will be updated to an accessible format when their next periodic review is completed.

The style of the governance documents is being reviewed to identify whether it is possible to adopt a revised format which will be accessible. This will take place when their next periodic review is completed.

Any new PDF documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

The payment system used by www.ecdevelop.co.uk is provided by a third party. We will review our supplier at the end of the contract.

Disproportionate burden

The virtual tours of the College campuses were produced by a third party and whilst it has been possible to make some adjustment to the content it has been deemed a disproportionate burden to make the content fully accessible. The third party supplier is working to see if they are able to make update the content to make it fully accessible.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
