ABOUT THE COURSE
Do you have questions about the origin and nature of our existence? Do you wonder why we are really here?
You study three major units:
Philosophy: In this unit we will discuss issues such as whether an ‘all-powerful being’ created our earth, or a ‘big bang’. Furthermore, if there is a perfect God, why is there so much evil in an imperfect world? Also, you will delve into the big question: is there life after death?
Ethics: This unit will explore moral decision making i.e. How do we determine whether something is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, ‘good’ or ‘bad’? We will utilise some of the greatest minds the world has ever known to help uncover answers to these questions.
Buddhism: In this unit you will examine Buddhist teachings and beliefs. During the course, there will be the chance to hear from guest speakers who are experts in philosophy, ethics and religion.
WHAT WE ADD
There will be opportunities for trips and visits to places such as Buddhist Temples and other places of worship. You will also have the chance to hear from guest speakers who are experts in the field.
HOW CAN I STANDOUT WITH PHILOSOPHY, ETHICS AND RELIGION?
