BTEC Award Ceremony



Lowestoft Sixth Form College held their second BTEC Award Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the students over the last academic year.

The ceremony which was organised by Karen Lambton, Progress and Achievement Coordinator, took place on the 30th June 2014 within the Sixth Form College, with an outstanding attendance. Students from each subject, displayed examples of their work, while teachers, guests and Principal Yolanda Botham admired all the hard work that the students had produced throughout their course.

Teresa Kelly from Talk Enterprise who presented the prizes said “It was a lovely ceremony and it was great to see all the wonderful achievements and to meet such committed students. The subject displays were very impressive and all the awards were well deserved.”

Congratulations to everyone who received prizes during the ceremony and for the dedication of both the staff and the students from BTEC subject areas including Forensic Science, Sport, ICT, Business and Skilled for Life. Amongst those rewarded were, Mohammed Ahmed, Benn Leech, Danielle Masterson, Yagmur Sil, Karl Casteleiro, Dana Mahoney and Savannah Bellis.
